Our new engineer, Chris, has a
long history in music and the music industry.
He's been playing music since he was 4 years old, starting as a
lot of us did on Woodwind and Brass, after a short
stint on Piano, he picked up the guitar, aged 13, and has
played ever since, leading his first band aged 15. Since
then, he continued in Guitar playing, singing and
performing, and is no stranger to the recording environment,
working with various bands as Guitar Technician, and even the
occasion session, including the Vineyard Music group, and
backing solo acts, Kit Ashton (Brighton) and David Doll
(North London), as well as playing in bands such as
Firstborn (Hertfordshire). A Graduate of Nexus Music College, in
Coventry, he chose a route over to the other side of the
microphone, and took up live Front of House engineering.
This has led to work as Engineer and Tour Manager, with bands
such a 'Verra Cruz' (Switchfoot support), 'Bromheads Jacket'
(SXSW, London Calling-Amsterdam, The Strokes support), 'Mohair'
(SXSW, Razorlight support), and artists such as Graham Kendrick,
and work on tour with Carleen Anderson (The Young Disciples),
and a year on the road with 'Delirious?' as Backline Technician.

Chris has been recording for the
past 3 years, working on various small projects, including
his own writing. His knowledge of recording gear,
microphones, mic-ing technique and music production in general are
just what's needed when wanting a quick result, or when a
project has time or budget limitations. He has great ideas
for getting the results you're after, and having been in
bands working on their early recordings, (as well as
getting the music out there) he's a great resource for
ideas on how you can get the upper hand for your music (just
be sureto pick his brains while you're on a coffee and lunch
break!!!). For this reason, he's also offering as part of
the packages (and in addition to them), help with
publicity, artwork, PR and Press packs. Just look on the
pricing page and see what we can do for you!
